It will be 5 years in August.
What is your role at Gaze Burvill?
I’m the Aftercare Manager – I suppose it is ultimately ensuring customers continue to be happy with their outdoor furniture, for years after they’ve purchased it.
What is the best thing about working at Gaze Burvill?
Probably the places i get to see – they’re some of the most beautiful places in the country.
What would you say is the hardest thing about your job?
When the sun comes out, everybody wants their outdoor furniture back tomorrow the next day – so it is keeping customers happy and meeting their expectations.
What is your most memorable moment since joining?
It must be working in the Hamptons in the US at -12ºC – it was amazing but surprisingly hard due to the conditions – it was their harshest winter in 30 years!
What makes you proud to work here?
The quality of our outdoor furniture and the high level of craftsmanship we have.
What is your favourite piece of furniture?
My favourite is the Splash outdoor sofa and armchair, whether that’s an armchair or sofa, I love them both.
What are your inheritance tracks?
The JCB Song by Nizlopi – when my son was younger we used to sing to it very loudly in the car.
