How long have you been with Gaze Burvill?

I’ve worked for Gaze Burvill for 12 and a half years. I’ve always worked in assembly putting together the furniture.

Tell us about what you do?

I am the Assembly Team Coach, so I oversee the assembly of our outdoor furniture which is the last step before it’s ready to go out to our customers.

What do you love most about your role?

I love the people I work with (except the Arsenal fans) and the products we make. It’s enjoyable to be making a high quality product that we know our customers love using as much as we do making.

What is the most challenging part about your job?

One of the biggest challenges in assembly is ensuring that jobs go out on time and to the high standard required for a Gaze Burvill piece of furniture.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of how long I have been with the company, it’s the longest job I’ve ever had and I still enjoy it everyday.

What is something on your bucket list?

I would really like to go back to Australia, I spent 16 years growing up there and haven’t been back for 20 years.
