How long have you been with Gaze Burvill?

I have been at Gaze Burvill since July 2016, I started as an Apprentice.

Tell us about what you do?

I’m an Assembly Craftsman and Procurement Champion. I work in assembly, as a craftsman, as well as making work orders and job sheets for the workshop and leading procurement.

What do you love most about your role?

I love making the custom and large pieces of outdoor furniture, make you really think about what you’re doing!

What is the most challenging part about your job?

Again making the large pieces, your brain is really active whilst working out how to make bits and fitting it all together.

What are you most proud of?

I think I’m most proud of how far I’ve come in the company. Starting off as an apprentice, getting better in assembly, being able to make everything, and now planning and ensuring everyone has work to do.

What is something on your bucket list?

I would absolutely love to travel to Australia, I was supposed to move out there about 10 years ago but it fell through! I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for that though!
