CANCELLED: 2020 RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Regrettably the RHS have had to cancel the Chelsea Flower Show in an unprecedented move due to the Coronavirus (COVID 19) guidance from the government.  We expect to show the planned garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2021.

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is the most prestigious event on the British flower show calendar. For our 27th consecutive appearance at the show we are thrilled that leading Landscape Architect, Randle Siddeley has designed our most thought provoking space yet. With a focus on wellbeing and eating delicious home-grown food, Randle Siddeley has created a garden that is almost entirely edible. Devised as a series of garden rooms around the kitchen, bespoke table and outdoor furniture, the garden seeks the closest engagement with fresh ingredients for maximum enjoyment and flavour, designed so that food can be picked, cooked and eaten all within an arm’s length.

An unmissable feature of the garden is the central planted wall with a floral display of edible violas, sitting beside the green wall of plants suitable to combine as a delicious salad that can be prepared in the state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen. Concentrating on centre-plate, the ready-to-eat planting scheme around the grill and kitchen area is devised principally of aromatic plants specifically chosen to allow chefs to add intrigue, flavour and colour to their dishes as they please.

EXCITING NEW FURNITURE PIECES

On the corner of the garden, where Main Avenue meets the pathway to the Great Pavillion, sits an eye catching new triple seat: The Meander 3. Shortlisted for RHS Chelsea Garden Product of the Year 2020, it is sure to be a conversation piece!

Our new, bespoke ‘Fresh Mead’ Table has recessed troughs for drink enhancing plants including chamomile for tea-lovers; mint for budding mixologists; and rose petals to garnish one’s favourite champagne.

“Having exhibited at Chelsea Flower Show for almost 30 years, there is clearly a growing importance put on spending time outdoors. Not just amongst those with a passion for gardening, people are recognising just how significant being outdoors is for their wellbeing. There seems to be a real understanding of how good it feels to spend time outdoors, and how therapeutic it is to cook and eat outside in the great company of family and friends. Here at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2020 we seek the closest engagement with the freshest grown ingredients for maximum enjoyment and the most delicious flavours”
