Job purpose

This role focuses on owning, developing and providing support for the IT systems across the company to facilitate improved information flow and transparency. This in turn will lead to simplification of metrics, improved decision making and drive better performance across the company. You will be part of the ‘SIMPLIFi’ (Systems IT Metrics Procurement Learning Integration Finance) activity group at Gaze Burvill which has a primary function of ‘Creating a smooth running company’.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the various IT systems used at Gaze Burvill Ltd and ensure they are managed, updated and optimised
  • Set up PCs, laptops, smartphones, printers
  • Manage software renewals and user license
  • Administer mobile devices using MDM solution
  • Provide technical support for enterprise software applications and installation
  • Train end users to use the system effectively
  • Work on a cloud-based ERP and CRM relational database system platform (NetSuite)
  • Ensure production flow throughout the process of planning to the product delivery
  • Understand system workflows and perform business requirement analysis to participate in suggesting process improvements based on the system capability and adopting industry best practices
  • Maintain documentation of issues, system process, implementation, and testing
  • Manage G-SUITE accounts
  • Set up and manage CELIGO CloudExtend user accounts

Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT systems, programming or related would be beneficial.
  • Useful Experience / Skills include:
  • Knowledge / experience of CRM and ERP systems preferably NetSuite
  • Manipulation and analysis of data from reports
  • Good interactive and communication skills
  • Teamwork and lending a hand in other areas of the business as required
  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript and SQL
  • Knowledge of Hardware – PC / Mac / Mobile / Printers / Telephones
  • Experience of managing and maintaining documentation of process and solution
  • Knowledge of MDM solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in project management
  • Ability to self-learn, research and find solutions from available resources
  • Support and administration experience (desirable)

Starting salary

£26,000 – £32,000 depending on experience

Start Date

31 March 2022 or earlier depending on candidate availability

Work Remotely

Up to 50% work from home will be possible after completion of induction and probationary period
